The Art of Work’s digital challenges:
We work with a large team of freelancers, practitioners and coaches. Being scattered all over the UK, we needed to provide our team with as much opportunities as possible to communicate, share ideas and challenges.
Our remote workers’ abilities to put together and deliver top quality virtual sessions varied greatly. We needed to improve on that.
Lastly, we are very good at what we do but the technical side of things is quite often a headache.
“We just wanted to concentrate on the quality of the content, without getting frazzled by everything else.”
About The Art of Work
The Art of Work was born 6 years ago. The learning and development organisation is the brainchild of Julie Blunt and her business partner Sandra Evans.
The organisation has grown from strength to strength, providing brilliantly simple work solutions and helping organisations, teams and individuals make sense of and navigate the ever-changing workplace.

The Art of Work helps you master that again and again.

No more technical headache, thanks to SyncSkills
“SyncSkills act as a ‘producer’ for us. Big organisations, the like of BT, have their own in house ‘producer’, we have Gaelle and the team at SyncSkills. Using the words ‘our producer will be in touch to help you set up’, is on its own priceless for us.
When it comes to technical knowledge, the skill set varies hugely amongst the team. Having SyncSkills on hand means that everyone is online when they need to be, everyone can dial in properly and all the technical side of things is taken care of.
Gaelle and the team at SyncSkills are also amazing at encouraging people to interact. They always introduce the webinar in a very professional manner.
“She makes a huge difference to the quality of the session.” says Julie.
SyncSkills provide significant help when it comes to The Art of Work’s team delivering their own webinars.
“It is with an amazing sense of relief that we can concentrate on the content of our webinars, safe in the knowledge that the technical side of things is well looked after” says Julie.
Training The Art of Work associates to design and deliver top class virtual sessions
“It’s a very different thing delivering to a classroom environment compared to an effective online session” says Julie.
“We recognised that to deliver exceptional service virtually, and to give us the edge in this area, we needed to upskill our existing facilitators and train new ones to the same standards.”
SyncSkills put together and delivered a training program which enabled all their remote workers to learn how to design and deliver top quality virtual sessions.
The Art of Work now have a great group of trained practitioners able to deliver and design quality virtual sessions, thanks to the expertise and training from SyncSkills.
“This has made a massive difference and really gives us the edge compared to our competitors”, Julie adds.
“SyncSkills has had a massive positive impact on our business.
Gaelle is now an integral part of the team. Her help, expertise and professionalism have been priceless.
We can not recommend her and the team at SyncSkills highly enough.”
The Art of Work moves to a totally integrated community thanks to the help of SyncSkills
Julie Blunt, Creative Director and co-founder of The Art of Work, was frustrated by how the limitations of the communication tools impeded their ability to execute their ideal strategy and make the team more aligned in terms of developing solutions.
The whole team wanted to explore alternative solutions and when the opportunity came up to evaluate other options, Julie and the team jumped at it.
SyncSkills was first brought on board to help The Art of Work team 3 years ago. They designed and delivered a range of online webinars and training sessions, solely aimed at developing the sense of community and belonging amongst the team of remote practitioners.
“They have been instrumental in the development of the coaches sense of community.
They have developed and delivered a range of webinars which enabled associates to feel part of a group rather than working as individuals.
This has made a huge difference to our organisation” says Julie.
