“Producers usually work hand in hand with the faculty, and the producer has interactions with participants, so it’s not only a support in the background, they are really part of the whole training experience.”

About MCE – AMA Europe

MCE is a leading provider of international management development services in the EMEA region, delivering open and customized training with clients throughout the region. Before covid, face-to-face training was about 75% of solutions.

Initially MCE worked with SyncSkills for supporting with elements of client proposals and for building learning journeys. We also started working together on coaching for faculty members to further develop their management of the online format.

We worked with SyncSkills to build elements of our proposals for our clients, and the team was really useful in supporting the learning journeys.

The pandemic hit…

Face-to-face training was put on hold overnight. So MCE needed to move all of their deliveries to an online format.

SyncSkills was able to support this move with virtual production services to support the increase in online training.

“We had to quickly move many programmes overnight from face to face to live online. SyncSkills supported this move with their producers” says Vincent.

How did you use SyncSkills Virtual Producers?

During the pandemic, most training switched to live online for MCE.

SyncSkills helped with building trust in the online environment, talking to clients and supporting proposal. Now it is well established and there is less need for advocates of virtual training. But more the support for complexities of the technology and managing multiple tools.

What was important for MCE in using SyncSkills?

SyncSkills supports multiple languages with team members from all different nationalities.

With MCE, SyncSkills were even able to offer a live translation service in Mandarin whilst the training was held in English.

Multi-lingual and multi-cultural were very important to us, it is a big advantage of the SyncSkills team.

Would you recommend using SyncSkills virtual producers?

“We recommend using producers in live online deliveries for larger groups. It just makes the experience much better for our clients and faculty.

The faculty member can focus on the content and not the technology. The producer ensures the training experience is seamless. So we think when there are 10 or more participants, a producer can really help.

Producers usually work hand in hand with the faculty, and the producer has interactions with participants, so it’s not only a support in the background, they are really part of the whole training experience.”

Where do you see the future of working with SyncSkills?

“MCE is already seeing the return to face to face training as this is where our clients want to be and is at the core of our work but 25% is still expected to stay online.”
