About Catherine Dock, guest speaker of From AI Experiments to AI Infrastructure: What L&D Leaders Need to Build Next
Technology Learning & Development Consultant with over 20 years of L&D experience threaded through her career, Catherine Dock has worked in ‘dot.com’ start-ups through to large scale, long-standing corporations. Her primary sector experience has been in Fin Tech, but also in Investment Banking, dot.com, Insurance, Telecoms, and the National Lottery.
Starting in software testing, Catherine’s career moved towards IT transformation and business operations, including generating people programmes and then into founding Learning & Development functions. Catherine’s expertise includes end-to-end of employee lifecycle: onboarding programmes, managing high-performance learning programmes, career development, mobility support and offboarding. She’s also developed Communities of Practice, craft leadership and learning academies. In Catherine’s last permanent role as Director of Technology Learning & Development at the London Stock Exchange Group, she developed an AI competency programme. Since going into consultancy, she has focused further on the impact of AI on L&D and HR.
Catherine is a founder partner of the AI think tank, the Work Intelligence Partnership, and of the non-profit organisation HR2035. Catherine’s articles have been published in the UK’s highly regarded Training Journal magazine, and she has been a panel speaker at industry events.
